The Eiffel tower got its name from the man who designed it Gustave Eiffel. During the summer the Eiffel Grows 6 inches during the summer from the metal expanding from the heat. There was over 18,000 of puddle iron used to make the Effiel Tower. The Effel Tower is 1,063 feet tall

The construction of the Effile tower started January 28 1887. La tour Effile était le plus haut bâtiment du monde jusqu'en 1930. It was almost torn down in 1909 but it was saved by it’s antenna witch was used for French Radio and Television. RETOUR DANS LA JOURNÉE
