2 This friendship book was arranged between December 11, 1918 and July 9, 1919 mainly in the Red Cross hospital No. 109 in Evreux, France. More than 50 wounded soldiers stated their acknowledgements for Miss J.H. Coffey, San Franciscan nurse caring for the injured.
