3 Compared to le futur, the actual future tense Remember: to form future tense, take the infinitive form of the verb (er verbs) or the future stem (irregulars) and add the following endings: ai, as, a, ons, ez, ont (very similar to avoir) Ex. Plus tard, je jouerai au basket. Later, I will play basketball. La semaine prochaine, nous étudierons la géo. Next week, we will study geography.
