6 ESPON - Stratégie MISSION Soutenir des politiques développement territorial en lien avec la politique de cohésion de l’Union Européenne Fournir des informations, des faits, des analyses, des scénarios, de façon comparable à l’échelle de l’UE, sur les structures et les dynamiques territoriales Mettre en exergue le capital territorial et les potentialités des territoires en vue d’un développement équilibré des régions européennes

7 ESPON - Stratégie PRINCIPES Le programme ESPON finance exclusivement des recherches Les demandes politiques, des Etats Membres et de la Commission européenne, donnent le cadre des recherches Les recherches visent une meilleure connaissance du développement territorial européen L’utilisation des résultats (indicateurs, typologies, base de données, concepts, cas d’études approfondis) est un objectif prioritaire (capitalisation)
