2 Paris, 13rd June 2005 46th INTERNATIONAL PARIS AIR SHOW - LE BOURGET A RECORD-BREAKING EVENT A RECORD--BREAKING EVENT 1,926 exhibitors from 41 countries (1,728 exhibitors in 2003) 238 aircraft (202 aircraft in 2003) 480,000 visitors over 7 days (340,000 over 9 days in 2003) of which 257,000 general public visitors (143,000 in 2003) and 223,000 trade participants (197,000 in 2003) 206 official delegations from 88 countries (154 delegations from 66 countries in 2003) 4,000 accredited journalists 127,519 sq.m. of covered exhibition space (halls, village, business chalets, external buildings) 192,000 sq.m. of static display

3 According to Louis Le Portz, Commissaire Général of the Show, “the 2005 Paris Air Show has benefited on two fronts, both from a rise in the number of exhibitors to record levels and the presence of almost twenty new aircraft, including the Airbus A380, Dassault Aviation’s Falcon 7X and UCAV Neuron, the Boeing 777-200LR, Gulfstream’s G550, Embraer’s EMB 195 and Aermacchi's M346, all of which made their first public appearance at the Show. Both these factors contributed to the record number of visitors this year. Thanks to indicators already in place, we organized a wide range of outstanding facilities in anticipation of this success. Cooperation with police and emergency services was also key to the smooth running of the event and allowed us to welcome up to 120,000 visitors in a single day, beating all previous Paris Air Show records.” With an increase in total visitor numbers of almost 41% compared to 2003, and 11% compared to 2001, this year’s Show confirms the interest that both the world of aerospace and the general public have in this biennial event. Louis Le Portz concluded that “the outstanding success of the 46th International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, organized by the French aerospace industries association Gifas, once again confirms the Show’s status as the world’s premier aerospace event.
