I couldn’t speak to anyone in the factory (je ne pouvais parler à personne à l’usine) Children could work 18 hours long (les enfants pouvaient travailler jusqu’à 18h)

PHONOLOGIE: L’ACCENTUATION DE LA PHRASE Observe ces phrases, recopie-les sur ton cahier et surligne les mots accentués que tu as repérés

 Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth, on the 7th February 1812.  When he was young, Charles Dickens had to work very long hours in the factory.  In the factory, he worked all the time and he had to stay quiet.
