Je vois un canard jaune, et il regarde à moi! Red bird, red bird! Tell me, what do you see? I see a yellow duck, and it’s looking at me!

4 Canard jaune, canard jaune! Dis-moi, ce que tu vois?
Je vois un cheval bleu, et il regarde à moi! Yellow duck, yellow duck! Tell me, what do you see? I see a blue horse, and it’s looking at me!

Enfants, enfants! Dis-moi, ce que vous voyez? Children, children! Tell me, what do you see? We see…. You could point out that this time we use “vous voyez” and “nous voyons”, instead of “tu vois” “je vois”. This is due to the need to conjugate (change) the verb, depending on who is doing the action. Nous voyons…

13 Encourage students to reply with a sentence: “Je vois…”
Encourage students to reply with a sentence: “Je vois…”. Could ask students to use “et” and name both the new and the previous picture(s).

14 This slide could be used to teach/ practise “Je ne vois pas de…” (“I don’t see a…”) – this can be anything that doesn’t appear on the slide at the time.

15 2 3 4 1 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Can be played as a team game, or individually.
Suggestion: Students choose a number (and say it in French) and then give: a) the colour, b) the animal, or c) both. 9 10 11
