1 Activities for the first week of the École 1 unit

2 We are going to write about where you go during the school day. PART ONE:  Using the « Emploi de Temps » paper, create a sentence for each class period stating what class you HAVE using AVOIR with (avec) the name of the teacher.  Then, you will write a sentence stating where you GO using ALLER and the classroom number. a)Exemple: Pour période 1, j’ai la classe de français avec Madame Burse. Je vais à #433. Activité du jour (mardi)

4  We will circulate around the room and ask friends: Où es-tu pour période ____?  We will listen as our friends answer with the sentence they wrote. Talk to ten different people before sitting down! PART TWO:

5  For homework, you get to rate your classes on a scale of you HATE it to you LOVE it and anywhere in between!  You need to write how you feel about each class as a sentence. For all of the phrases that begin with the subject pronoun je, you will start your sentence here. ONLY with ‘Cela m’est indifférent’ will you start with the name of the class first. 6 Today you are going to create your very own CARTE DE LA LYCÉE AZUSA We are going to go out to the COUR DE RECRÉ for 5 minutes and draw a map of the school and label its parts in French. When we return to the SALLE DE CLASSE, we are going to use those maps for an activity… Activité du jour (mercredi/jeudi)

7 Now that you have your CARTE DE LA LYCÉE, you are going to show us your daily route around school Using a COULEUR, you are going to label where you have your classes.
