2 B ACKGROUND INFO Its located in the south easterly part of France. There are a lot of vineyard, flower fields, orchards and mulberry groves. Dominated by the Alps. Major cities: Nice, Cannes, Toulon and Arles. Historical background:-in the 5 th centaury Provence was invaded by Visigoths, Burgundians and Ostrogoths. It was then ruled by the Franks. After the French Revolution it was given back to France. Economy-France is one of the world's major economic powers. Cote d’azur has the second highest salary in France. Weather- The Cote d’Azur is famous for its Mediterranean-like climate and dry summers. Temperatures peak between July and August and can reach up to 104°F at midday. On average expect summer temperatures of 86°F or more and mild winters (50°F min). Interesting facts- - The seaside coasts in France are named after precious stones. -Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious and oldest film festivals in the world! -Ile Saint-Margerite (St-Marguerite Island) is a significant historical site within the city of Cannes.

3 L E N EGRESCO Once we arrive in Cote d’ Azur, we will be staying at Le Negresco. This hotel has been overlooking one of the French Rivera’s most beautiful bays for a century. When it first opened in 1913 it attracted kings from the old and new world mostly because of it’s large art collection of over 6000 references.

4 D AY 1 C ANNES Nous mangeons le petit dejeuner a Le Negresco. Nous mangeons les fruits et les croissants. Nous faisons les mangasins et de la photo de Cannes. Nous mangeons un cornet de la glace chocolat evec chantille. Nous allons Iles de Lerins apres and take a tour. Iles de Lorins es deux islands from Cannes home to Fort Royale and nous allons en bateau. These islands are known to be inhabited during Roman times. Nous allons Le Tire Bouchon pour le diner. Nous avons le poulet avec la salade, le fromage, la baguette et les kiwis.

5 D AY 2 N ICE Nous allons a Nice. Nous mangeons le petit dejeuner a Le Negresco. Nous mangeons les oeufs avec le fromage et le bacon. Nous buvons le jus de orange aussi. Nous allons a la plage et le ski l’eau. Nous mangeons le dejeuner a Parcours. Nous avons le filet de beef avec haricot verts et polenta doree. Nous allons au Promenade Des Anglais apres. The Promenade Des Anglais is a famous street along Nice’s meditteranean waterfront. Nous allons La Villa Archange pour le diner. Nous avons veloute de Brebis et fromage de chevere a la fleur de thyme, fougrasse aux aromates. Nous allons Nice Jazz Festival apres le diner.

6 D AY 3 M ONOCO Ce matin nous mangeons en Le Negresco la petit dejeuner. Plus tard aujour’hui nous allons a la chateau de la cheure d’or. Puis a pres que nous allons a 13 th centuary palais du Prince.poor le diner. Nous allons a Lafizio et avoir la pizza peperoni. At the palis nous sommes aller to tour it, de l photo, et scenery watch.

7 D AY 4 A NTIBES Esta matin nous magons en le Negresco la Petit dejeuner. Plus tard aujourd’hui nous allons La Cafetirer Fele et avoir. Hamber- rossini de boeuf pris dans le filet blinis au sesame et sauce au poiove tellicherry. Puis a preque nous allons Marineland. C’est cher mais ca vautle coup. At marine land we will go to the water park, watch a few shows, go to the indoors aquarium, and pet the whales.
