Un certain nombre de projets ont ou vont être engagés cette année dans les domaines suivants: - SS7oIP: signalisation SS7 transportée sur l'IP - VoIP: voix sur IP - UMTS/GPRS - architecture d'un système de monitoring IP générique - NGN: réseaux de nouvelle génération Au fur et à mesure de l'avancement, d'autres opportunités de développement pourront se faire jour (exemple: au cours de nos réflexions sur l'IP, nous avons détecté un besoin pour une solution de monitoring des proxy-radius sur IP).

Des couches dadaptation de niveau supérieur ont été définies par le groupe SIGTRAN de lIETF (M2PA, M3UA, SUA…). Le projet consiste à adapter la sonde prOceSS7 actuelle (Monitor Unit) à ces nouveaux interfaces et protocoles
