4 Past tense conjugation with être
Aller Je suis allé(e) Nous sommes allé(e)s Tu es allé(e) Vous êtes allé(e)(s)(es) Il/On est allé Ils sont allés Elle est allée Elles sont allées

5 Paul et Luc sont allés au concert.
Remember: when you use être in the past tense, the past participle has to agree with the subject in gender and number (just like adjectives do): Paul et Luc sont allés au concert. Claire et Sophie sont allées au cinéma. Jean est allé au supermarché. Colette est allée à la bibliothèque.

6 NOTE Reflexive verbs are also conjugated with être in the past tense:
Example: Je me suis levée tard et j’ai raté le bus.
