COOPÉRATION (Santé) BIO-COMET – Bioreactor-based, clinically oriented manufacturing of engineered tissues BIO-COMETBIO-COMET brings together internationally renowned leaders in the field of regenerative medicine, from academic, clinical and industrial research institutions for the development, pre-clinical and clinical testing of a sensor-based bioreactor system for the production of functional, autologous engineered grafts with reproducible properties. Successful implementation of the project will be instrumental to the extension of such bioreactor-based systems to the clinic with the ultimate goal to facilitate broad utilization and commercialization of cell-based grafts as therapeutic solutions. PERSONNES (IIF) ET DPHEN DNA: Electron transfer through multiple consecutive phenanthrenyl containing DNA The objective of this project is to synthesize and study DNA containing more than one phenanthrenyl-pair (dPhen-R) in a duplex DNA. This would provide the first example of electron transfer through a duplex containing multiple phenanthrenyl (dPhen-R) base replacements. this novel DNA architecture may be applied in DNA based biosensors and in the area of DNA nanomaterials. PERSONNES (IRSES) BIOREGENT: Biocontrol and Bioremediation Agents and their Role in Agriculture and Forest Health The project will establish a small network of specialised scientists from six centres in the EU and Canada. The network will develop a more detailed understanding of how beneficial soil bacteria and fungi can facilitate the growth and development of plants. It will also develop and test schemes of practical (commercial) interest in agriculture, horticultural, silviculture and environmental cleanup. Many members of the consortium have cooperated with each other successfully in the past. Planned exchanges will foster a long term collaborative relationship between our groups and teach our students a variety of new skills, approaches and ways of thinking. PERSONNES (IAPP) ISMS: Internet-based Structural Health Monitoring System ISMS a collaborative effort between a Danish SME within vibration technologies in combination with two research organizations, French INRIA and Canadian UBC aims to build a long-term partnership around the development of web-based damage detection procedures applied to instrumented civil infrastructures, which are robust to environmental changes. ISMS proposes the secondment of 6 researchers over a total of 28 months; the recruitment of one experienced capacity for 18 months; and accompanying networking activities.
