Luciano Torsi (Arezzo, 27 November 1939) was an Italian painter. Born in Arezzo earth moved as a young man in the city of Livorno. Self-taught, he has been able to correct their mistakes establishing itself professionally in the arts. Writing in the yearbook of the Tuscan painters, the Center Dissemination Art of Florence, in "The 60 Italian air" for Piacenza and artistic Italian market from 1800 to 1900, cataloged in the dictionary of contemporary European painting Milan, quotes in Bolaffi 1973 n.8 and Bolaffi 1978 n.11. The "painter of the woods" as defined Torsi, portrays Tuscan landscapes, forests, streams, flowering meadows full of light and color. He held personal exhibitions in many Italian and foreign cities (Lido di Jesolo, Empoli, Rome, Camp Darby, Siena, Viareggio, Florence, Novara, Turin, Pinerolo, Racconigi, Avigliana, Bari, La Spezia and in Lima, Peru, Cincinnati, Toronto, Pensacola, Hall of nations in Paris).
