Une relation symbiotique C’est une relation durable entre deux espèces. Il y a trois principaux types de relations symbiotiques : 1. Le parasitisme : un des partenaires obtient des avantages alors que l’autre subit des pertes.

Le mutualisme 2. Le mutualisme : une relation entre deux organismes où chacun des partenaires tire des avantages.

Le commensalisme 3. Le commensalisme : une relation profitable à un des partenaires et qui n’est ni profitable ni nuisible à l’autre.

La relation parasite-hôte Le parasite est l’animal qui vit sur ou dans un autre animal qui lui fournit la nourriture. Ex. pou et ver solitaire. L’hôte est l’organisme qui fournit la nourriture à un parasite. Ex. le puceron est un parasite et le chien est l’hôte.

Symbiosis When two species live closely together in a relationship that lasts over time. There are three main types of symbiotic relationships: 1.Parasitism : a symbiotic relationship in which one partner benefits and the other partner is harmed.

Mutualism 2. Mutualism : a relationship between two different organisms, in which each partner benefits from each other.

Commensalism 3. Commensalism : symbiotic relationship in which one partner benefits and the other partner does not appear either to lose or to gain from the relationship.

The relationship parasite-host The parasite lives on or in the other organism and feeds on it. Ex. lice and tapeworm. The organism that provides food for a parasite is called the host. Ex. a flea is a parasite and a dog is the host.
