Faire+sport Refer to page 274. In English, when we are talking about doing a sport we say: I jog I hike I horseback ride Etc… In French, when we are talking.

Le futur proche The immediate future tense means “I am going to …”
Pour commencer … Read the statements below and put them into three columns depending on whether they are written in the past, present or future tense.

The one exception:  All verbs that end in –er are regular, with one exception.  That is aller which means “to go.”

The future tense is easy-peasy The future tense is easy-peasy! It is also really important because if you can say what you did and are going to do you can reach at least a Level 6!!

…you then put the correct part of aller (to go) in front of it E.g.: Je vais aller au cinéma Je vais regarder la télé Je vais faire du bowling

Of course, you will want to talk about other people and to other people about what they are going to do. You will need to know the verb “aller” really well - LEARN IT!!
