Wheel of Fortune

How to play… 1.Divide students into teams. Click on the #1 circle to spin the wheel for the first team. If the spinner lands on anything other than Bankrupt/Lose a Turn, the team chooses a consonant. Now click on the yellow smiley face to advance to the puzzle slide. 2.If the consonant appears in the puzzle, the teacher will reveal the letter(s) by click on the boxes which cover those letters. The team earns the amount spun times the number of consonant in the puzzle. Click on the “wheel icon” to return to the spinner slide and enter the amount won in the team’s textbox below the wheel. 3.The first team now “spins” again and repeats the process until they choose a letter that is not in the puzzle or they solve the puzzle. Teams may also “buy” a vowel, which reduces their score by $ Play continues until the puzzle has been solved.
