vouloir= to want je veux tu veux il/elle/on veut nous voulons vous voulez ils/elles veulent

Uses of “vouloir” Veux-tu une glace? Voulez-vous regarder un film? The forms of vouloir can be followed by a noun or the infinitive of another verb Exemples: Veux-tu une glace? Voulez-vous regarder un film?
To ask for something politely Je voudrais= I would like Je veux= I want
To accept an offer The French often use the expression “Je veux bien” to accept an invitation or an offer Exemple: Tu veux déjeuner avec moi? Oui, je veux bien.

devoir has many English translations devoir has many English translations when used with the infinitive of another verb: should/must Nous devons étudier pour l’examen.= we should/must study for the test. have to/need to Je dois faire les courses. = I need to/ have to do the shopping.
Another translation of devoir devoir can also mean “to owe” when used with a noun Je dois dix euros à ma soeur. = I owe ten euros to my sister.
