Use devoir in the conditional + infinitive  Je devrais faire mes devoirs mais je ne veux pas bien.  Avec votre voiture, vous devriez vérifier l’huile. Translate:  You should talk to your teacher. (tu)  You should take notes. (vous)  Tu devrais parler à ton prof.  Vous devriez prendre des notes.

In the Negative  Tu ne devrais pas fumer.  Tu ne devrais pas dire ça.  Suggests what you should not do.
