3 Un appui technique – A technical support Deux volets :  La comptabilité nationale (dont le SCN 2008)  La maitrise d’ERETES ERETES, « système expert », intègre le savoir « Comptabilité nationale » : par l’itinéraire et les méthodes qu’il propose par son aide très complète Two components:  National Accounts (of which SNA 2008)  Mastery of ERETES ERETES is an « expert system » which includes National Account knowledge through the itinerary and the methods it proposes through its comprehensive help. 02/06/2016 3

6 Implementation of SNA 2008 through application of ERETES Mise en œuvre du SCN 2008 à travers l’utilisation d’ERETES Proposition (sur l’idée de UNECA) : o Nouvelles implantations : Pays ayant un fort intérêt dans l’utilisation d’Eretes. o Supportés par des “parrains d’Eretes” o Ateliers de travail pour élaborer une démarche commune d’implantation et de suivi. Proposal (on the idea of UNECA): o Implementing countries : strong interest of ERETES o Supported by “Eretes godfathers” o Workshop for plans roadmaps. 02/06/2016 6

7 Atelier de d’harmonisation des méthodes et outils de travail sur ERETES (AFW) Workshop harmonisation on working methods on ERETES (AFW) Objectifs : o Identifier et évaluer les outils et méthodes de travail sur ERETES. o Développer des méthodes de travail pour une bonne utilisation d’ERETES (en cohérence avec la mise en place du SCN 2008) o Offrir un cadre d’échange des bonnes pratiques. Objectives: o Identify and evaluate tools and methods of work on ERETES. o Develop working methods for proper use of ERETES (consistent with the implementation of the 2008 SNA) o Provide a framework for exchange of best practices. 02/06/2016 7

8 ERETES DANS LE PROGRAMME STATISTIQUE PAN AFRICAIN ERETES IN THE PAN AFRICAN STATISTICS PROGRAM (PAS) Contexte du PAS:  « Soutenir l'intégration africaine grâce à une meilleure disponibilité et la qualité de l'information statistique en facilitant la prise de décision et le suivi des politiques » Context of the PAS:  “To support African Integration through better availability and quality of statistical information facilitating decision-making and policy monitoring” 02/06/2016 8

9 ERETES DANS LE PROGRAMME STATISTIQUE PAN AFRICAIN ERETES IN THE PAN AFRICAN STATISTICS PROGRAM (PAS) Contexte du PAS:  (S01) Améliorer la production et la diffusion de statistiques de bonne qualité en Afrique.  (S02) soutenir l'UA dans le renforcement de sa capacité institutionnelle de fournir des fonctionnaires statistiques officielles comparables pour soutenir l'intégration de l‘AU et de mesurer les progrès de l'Afrique vers les objectifs mondiaux. Specific objectives :  (S01) Improve the production and dissemination of good quality statistics in Africa  (S02) support the AU in strengthening its institutional capacity to provide comparable officials statistics needed to underpin the AU integration and measure African progress towards global goals. 02/06/2016 9

10 ERETES DANS LE PROGRAMME STATISTIQUE PAN AFRICAIN ERETES IN THE PAN AFRICAN STATISTICS PROGRAM (PAS) Résultats attendus:  (R1) Capacité accrue et une approche plus harmonisée pour la production de statistiques de qualité pour l'UA.  (R2) Des approches de diffusion améliorées et une diffusion accrue de données de qualité en Afrique.  (R3) Renforcement des capacités institutionnelles pour les statistiques en Afrique. Expected results :  (R1) Enhanced capacity and a more harmonised approach for the production of good quality statistics for the AU.  (R2) Enhanced dissemination approaches and increased dissemination of quality data in Africa.  (R3) Strenghtened institutional capacity for statistics in Africa. 02/06/2016 10
