Needs Assessment Study Conducted in Provided relevant information on how to better serve Montréal’s culturally diverse population.

3 Objectives To determine the needs of the people diagnosed with ADRD and their caregivers within a cultural context To determine the needs of health and social service providers so that they could access their clients’ needs.

4 NAS Implemented in 3 Phases
Phase I 212 People with ADRD and their Caregivers in Cultural communities Criteria… With the highest percentage of overall population With the highest percentage of elderly people Language spoken Cultural Communities French, English, Jewish Ashkenazi, Italian, Haitian

PHASE II (Redesigned) Caregivers from Cultural Communities: Greek Jewish Sephardic Slavic Arabic Chinese Spanish English speaking Caribbean community Phase III 430 healthcare providers… 51 agencies

6 Needs assessment study also inspired a strategic planning process that led the ASM to redefine the respective roles of our professional counselors
