2 Biography  Stephen william Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, in Oxford, England  During his first year at St. Albans School, he was third from the bottom of his class.  Stephen hawking went to oxford university at 17 years old.  In 1962 Hawking moved to cambridge unvesity for a PhD in cosmologie.  One year leater Hawking was diagnosted with ALS.  Hawking was given 2 years and half to live, he got married 3 years latter to janne wiled and he is now 74 years old.

3 Scientific work  Stephen hawking work specially on black holes.  Hawking made great progress on how the big bang started.  He also worked on string theory general relativity and quantum theory

4 hawking awards and honors  he was elected as one of the youngest ever Fellows of the Royal Society  He has accumulated twelve honorary degrees  the Albert Einstein Award, the most prestigious in theoretical physics  as well as many other awards, medals and prizes  He was appointed Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University

5 TV and Film  He made a guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory, the simpsons, star trek : the next generation  He was a guest in the late night with conan Obrien  He recorded voice-over on the Pink Floyd song "Keep Talking."
