3 Tendances de admissions SAM au Sahel Projections à fin dannée Données incomplètes 5 pays sur 9 dépassent les projections estimées pour les deuxième trimestre (calculées sur base des admissions réelles du premier trimestre et tendances interannuelles observées les années précédentes) : Niger, Tchad, Mali, Sénégal, et Gambie Si les tendances des admissions se maintiennent, nous devrions pouvoir prendre en charge plus de 90% des enfants MAS cibles par les clusters nationaux, soit pouvoir traiter plus d1 million denfants en 2013 Bonne ou mauvaise nouvelle ? 2013 : crise ou pas crise ? … clairement déficit de résilience

9 Blanket Feeding Activities Achievements to date Most countries with blanket feeding activities have completed trainings for implementing and cooperating partners (ongoing in The Gambia) All countries have finalized or are in the process of finalizing Field Level Agreements (FLAs) with partners Challenges faced Late arrival of commodities in Burkina Faso, Chad and Senegal; logistical constraints due to the rainy season specifically in Chad and Senegal Commodity shortfalls expected in Burkina Faso, Mali and Senegal Funding constraints in Mauritania Ongoing security situation in Mali Limited capacity of partners Data collection/M&E plans Post distribution monitoring (PDM) is planned in Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Niger Taking lessons learned from M&E of 2012 Sahel BSF activities
