Functional analysis sheet : Define functions, assemblies and quantities BOM import BOM sheet: Copy past of the BOM to analyse in BOM sheet. Select the name of assembly in column A Components FIT Components FIT sheet: Select reliability models for each BOM line, then sheet calculate FIT value Vs quantity for each line using FIT data sheet FIT Data FIT data sheet: Reliability models or specific components failure rate Calculated for product life profile with Fides or from manufacturer data using tool sheet Explications: -FMECA. RAMS process and tools Analysis is being done for each component of the camera One generic tool is developed at APC for the whole process FIT: Failure In Time To come: one CIDL with the list of RAMS documents. RAMs documents: one Excel file per product.

RAMS process and tools APC excel RAMS tool is the main tool for RAMS analysis to collect all data and analyse reliability : Allow to define all functions and assembly levels Allow to import bill of material Allow import FIT data (from Fides analysis “Excel_file_fides_result”, manufacturer, field data, or other handbooks) Audit process tool : to determine Pi Process (impact directly FIT data calculated with Pi Process = 1) Simplify and accelerate failure rate analysis using reliability models (generic components failure data calculated for the product life cycle): Example: Ceramic capacitor 10 µF – 10V for decoupling, rating 50% and not placed in interface could be selected as CAPA_CER_HCV_0,5_Typ2_NIP reliability model -Analyse failure rate / function / assembly / equipment… -FMECA analysis (with automatic failure occurrence and function relation import) -Maintenance table

Reliability data 2 main sources:
Manufacturer data (to be adjusted to product life profile) Handbooks (Fides is strongly recommended for KM3NET) Fides is now International Standard

C’est ici qu’intervient reliasoft ou Fides. -Functional Analysis: on donne la composition / groupes / quantités / fonctions / entrées /sortie. -SADT: Outil automatique à partir de l’analyse fonctionnelle. -Bill of material: Sur la base des composants présents dans l’analyse fonctionnel. -Component FIT: Calcule le FIT de chaque composant + Teste si on répond aux règles de dérating. Peut générer une modification du choix decomposant. -Component result analysis: Permet le classement des composants suivant le FIT. -Failure rate results: Impact des défaillances individuelles sur le système.
