3 AU PREMIER TRIMESTRE DE SEPTEMBRE A NOVEMBRE During the first term (September – November)

Questionnaire d’intérêt en seconde-      Delivering and analysing a questionnaire to help year 10 students determine their interests. Présentation en fin de trimestre des filières post-bac aux classes de premières afin de préparer l’orientation post-bac. -     Presenting ‘Post Bac’ studies (college, university etc..) to year 11 students at the end of the first term. Bilan personnalisé au Lycée sur Rendez-vous -        Interviewing students at the Lycée ( high school) and giving individual assessments.

Présentation en fin de trimestre des filières post-bac aux classes de premières afin de préparer l’orientation post-bac. -         Presenting the ‘Post Bac’ studies to year 11 students at the end of their first term to give them milestones for their future career. Présentation en début d’année des exigences pédagogiques de la classe de Terminale avec les échéances administratives et d’orientation à respecter.    Presenting year 12 students with the teachers ’ expectations as well as the agenda and orientation deadlines, at the beginning of the school year.

Dépistage précoce des élèves mal orientés en seconde ou première. -         Spotting pupils who were not given suitable advice in year 10 or year 11.

Interventions à destination des candidats aux classe préparatoires aux grandes écoles et aux filières de BTS et d’IUT. Targeting the pupils interested in preparing the ‘ Grandes Ecoles’ or those interested in vocational training diplomas ( BTS / IUT)

Bilan des perspectives d’orientation post-bac des élèves de première avec le proviseur. Joint assessment of year 11 students career prospects with the Headmaster.

11 Salons et réunions d’information Information days or weeks.
Salon de l’étudiant (démarche privée) Possibility for the pupils to go on their own to the ‘Salon de l’étudiant’. Infosup (accueil des tous les élèves de Terminale à l’université pour une présentation des filières) Infosup ( not unlike orientation week in the USA). The French universities and colleges have a special day devoted to year 12 pupils to explain them what courses they may take at university and how things work.

Questionnaire d’intérêt en seconde. bilan et analyse de l’évolution des choix. Assessing the questionnaire given at the beginning of the school year for year 10 students. Bilan personnalisé au Lycée sur Rendez-vous Possibility for each student to have a personal assessment at school.

14 Intervention du proviseur Interventions of the Headmaster.
Accueil des représentants des lycées du secteur pour apporter l’information aux élèves intéressés par un changement d’établissement après la classe de seconde. Greeting the representatives of the neighbouring ‘lycées’(high schools ) who will inform the year 10 students who need to go another ‘lycée’ for their studies. Informations sur les filières post-seconde proposées au lycée Nord Bassin Informing the pupils about the subjects and “ baccalauréeats” you may take at the Lycée Nord Bassin

15 Travail du professeur principal de la classe Part played by the ‘professeur principal’ (coordinating teacher.) Fiches de projets de vœux définitifs en seconde pour le conseil de classe du troisième trimestre. Collecting the forms where year ten students and their families express their final choices before the 'conseil de classe'“ of the third term. Affinage de la filière choisie pour la suite des études. Refining the subjects chosen for the future student.

16 Salons et réunions d’information Information Days and meetings.
« Aquitec » pour les classes de Première : présentation des formations en Aquitaine avec priorité de l’information donnée sur les filières technologiques. Year 11 students may go to “Aquitec” which in the ‘Aquitaine’ area is devoted to informing students about future careers , with a bias towards vocational and technological training.
