Some –er verbs have spelling changes in all persons except nous and vous. Most verbs whose second-to-last syllable contains e (no accent) will change the e to è in all forms except nous and vous. amener (to bring (someone)) j’amène nous amenons tu amènes vous amenez il/elle/on amène ils/elles amènent J’amène mon copain à la fête. I’m bringing my friend to the party.
