On slide 12, all the birds are presented with an indefinite article (article indéfini: un (for masculine singular words) or une (for feminine singular words). Have a look at the Language tip presenting the articles indéfinis and complete the accompanying activity. 49 Les couleurs Can you look at the birds and tell what colour they are, in French. You will find a summary of colours on the next slide Here is an example for you: Le merle: il est noir. Be careful, some of the birds are feminine, for example: La mésange bleue, so you’ll have to use the feminine form of the adjectives. home
