2 Instructions:  For each slide ask for the name of the fruit in English and then in French.  Then ask for the colour.  Show the sentence and make them repeat every information of the slide and the sentence. Optional:  Explain Masculine / Feminine through the difference between “Un” and “Une”.  Explain that in French there are three words for “The” (“Le” (Masculine) ; “La” (Feminine) and “Les” (Plural)).  Explain the adjective is more often after the noun in French. So the colour is after the name of the fruit.  Make them write each new fruits, colours and then sentences to practise French writing.

C’est = This is / It’s Pronunciation rules :  Not any ‘e’ ending words must be pronounce. Example : Banane  Pronunciation : Banan (The last sound is a ‘n’) Pomme  Pronunciation : Pomm (The last sound is a ‘m’) The ‘e’ that ends words makes the penultimate letter pronounced. 13 How to play to Le jeu des goûts : (following slide)
 Desactivate full screen mode to be able to select items from the PowerPoint.  One at a time a pupil has to come to the board and choose one fruit to move either on “J’aime” (I like) or on “Je n’aime pas” (I don’t like).  Once the fruit has been placed near the appropriate side he/she has to say the result sentence. Example : “ J’aime la pêche” or “Je n’aime pas l’ananas”.
