Elisabetta is trying to reconstruct ~ 10 events to test if this is correctly treated by the standard OpEmuRec chain. 4 NUMUCC and NUMUNC backgrounds rejection
Already knew that a small fraction of vertices didn’t have all their tracks downstream of the vertex. Realized that most of the NUMUCC 2-vertex events are like this: Big reduction of NUMUCC and NUMUNC bkg, mostly on the 2-prongs subsample. 8 Bogues et détails techniques
Bug : le lien entre les traces ED et l’info MC vraie, pas encore résolu Addition de données de CS et SB plus compliqué que prévu, le lien avec le MC n’est pas là. Peut-être en passant par les micro-traces et en faisant en truth-matching fait-maison on y arrivera… « Efficacité ScanBack dans le labo = 100% » - Andrea Russo (!) Sysal-OpEmuRec ne remplit pas l’arbre DataMap Codé le lien entre la vérité MC et les données reconstruites Problème dans le lien trace reconstruite-microtrace dans Fedra-OpEmuRec Problème dans les vertex dans le MC : position est donné comme float malgré la précision double utilisé en interne, limite la précision Problème dans la liste MCVertexList de la vérité MC : queue de haute énergie (~2 MeV) d’interaction du tau avec le matériau empêche les vraies filles du tau d’être attachées à son vertex de désintégration. Rappel : Dario et al veulent appliquer l’analyse de Magali aux candidats tau->3p (pour que l’analyse soit « blind ») Implémenté les variables cinématiques développées par Magali et Dominique : Etot2, theta1, angle3D. Nouveau algorithme pour le thrust (meilleur approximation).
