2 Introduction There are two major categories of verbs in French language: Reguliers et Irreguliers Er-verbes other Re-verbes Ir-verbes Each category has a different pattern of conjugation; we need to memorize these patterns for each subject pronoun 11/11/2018

3 Er - verbs In order to conjugate Er-verbs correctly, we need to know two things: 1. The stem of the verb we want to conjugate, 2. The proper endings for each subject pronoun 11/11/2018

4 How to find the stem? 1. Erase the last two letters of the infinitive of the Er-verb Examples: Jouer er jou Ecouter er ecout Travailler er travaill 11/11/2018
