Students refer back to the definitions of animals they prepared at the end of last term. They need to practise giving their presentation. Most able should try from memory, middle to fold back the 3rd column and just use the sentence starters and less able can read with good pronunciation.

Main activity of the lesson is for each group to do a presentation about one animal to their group of 4 students. The rules for the presenters are in yellow, the rules for the listeners are in green.They don’t say the name of the animal, the class makes notes of key words that they recognise and they guess the name of the animal. Each person says – Je pense que…… and the others can respond – C’est vrai – C’est faux – Vous êtes fous – Moi aussi– Moi non plus and the student tells them what it is, and then you move on to the next student.
