Le premier novembre en France est un jour férié. On célèbre la Toussaint et on fleurit les tombes avec des chrysanthèmes. Il ne faut jamais offrir des chrysanthèmes pour une autre occasion. Usually “c’est” is to identify a noun (place person) “Il est” or “elle est” is to describe the noun In other word ► C’est + what/who? ► C’est un lycée Il est/elle est + how? ► Il est grand BUT C’est beau = “It is beautiful” is possible, it just means IT is beautiful, you are unspecific about what “it” is. Il est beau= we know according to the context you were talking of a park. Park is masculine, so it becomes a “he”. Il makes it specific, you know it is the park that is beautiful, not “it” in general (the whole place)
