14 La société IBA propose de construire le cyclotron à Louvain-la-Neuve, de le tester, puis de le démonter et l’installer à Caen sur le campus du GANIL ARCHADE aurait la charge de construire le bâtiment pour abriter cette machine, puis de mener, avec une équipe de 12 à 15 chercheurs, les études nécessaires définissant les conditions requises pour traiter un premier patient en mode recherche vers à fin 2011. contribuer à améliorer un modèle radio biologique applicable à la planification de traitements par faisceau de carbone Contribuer au développement, à l’adaptation et à la validation d’un système de plan de traitement incluant le calcul des EBR pour aller de la dose physique à la dose biologique équivalente Faire si nécessaire des expériences sur animaux pour vérifier le plan de traitement Manchester April 10th 2008

15 Le financement du bâtiment et des fluides est assuré par le Conseil Régional de Basse-Normandie (CRBN) Un pré-accord a été signé le 7 février entre le CRBN et IBA d’une part, et entre ARCHADE et IBA d’autre part Dans le cadre du Programme National de Recherches en Hadronthérapie (PNRH), émanation de l’INCa : Archade vient en complément des activités de l’Institut Curie, d’ETOILE, du Centre A. Lacassagne (Nice). Ouverture aux laboratoires du CEA, de l’INSERM et de l’IN2P3/CNRS Outil de développement mis à disposition de recherches pour des laboratoires et centres cliniques européens.
