‘CREATE A SNOWFLAKE’ CELEBRATION HAS BEGUN! Bring any of your completed snowflakes to show Mr. Bax. When MATH and ART combine - amazing things happen!

8 Math, maTH, MATH!! Math is amazing - math is everywhere. This month we will explore fun math facts about snowflakes! 10 inches of snow will melt to about 1 inch of water due to the air trapped inside of the ice particles. Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

10 BAND Band today after school. It is important that everyone is there in attendance. We had a fantastic rehearsal yesterday morning….Lets continue to build on it as we prepare for Music Fest! Also please let Mr. Ferris know if you still require a shirt for Music Festival. I have some in the back room, but need to order more. Thanks,

15 * Wellness Break - Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time. The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity. No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.
