Passé Composé: – Sudden occurrence – Time limit/Finished, completed action (I went to Paris.) – Action interrupts another action (I was reading when the spider bit me.) – Reaction to another action (I saw a spider and I was afraid.) – Series of distinct instances (I came, I saw, I conquered.)
