2 What is an Infinitive? (other than my favorite word) An un-conjugated verb Has its endings – ir, er, re Has the “to” attached to the verb – Example: to swim, to dance, to study, to play Faire Etudier Jouer Aller Prendre Finir Attendre Lire Sortir Entendre Dormir Remplir Rougir Ouvrir
