6 Remember being told that in French, adjectives ALWAYS go after the noun? Well, it breaks my heart to tell you… it was a lie.

7 Most adjectives in French come after the noun:
“Une personne adorable.” (a lovable person) …But the following adjectives come before the noun: beau (beautiful), bon (good), nouveau (new), petit (small), grand (tall), jeune (young), vieux (old), mauvais (bad), joli (pretty) gros (big) long (long). “Un mauvais garçon” (a bad boy)
