6 M. C. Escher was a Dutch artist from Leeuwarden, Netherlands. M. C. Escher était une artiste néerlandais de Leeuwarden.

8 Escher’s father, George Escher, was an engineer famous as a foreign advisor for the Japanese from 1873 to 1878. Son père, George Escher, était un ingénieur connu comme conseiller étranger pour les Japonais de 1873 à 1878.

10 Escher was a sickly child who failed many subjects. Escher était un enfant malade qui a raté beaucoup des sujets.
