18 La météo This lesson you will be weather forecasters for the UK on TV5 monde! You will be forecasting in pairs! Starter: In French 1) Write down how you will greet the audience and introduce each other (il/elle s’appelle…) 2) Write down this example and now write down 2 similar sentences, but changing all of the red parts: “À Edimbourg, aujourd’hui dans le nord-est de l’Ecosse, il fait beau.” 3) Note down how to sign off: “Merci d’avoir écouté. Passez une bonne journée” 4) When you finish all above, revise A) the UK countries B) the compass points C) the weather

19 La météo For level 4 speaking… 1) You must use everything in your starter and give an opinion on the weather: 2) C’est super/ terrible etc. 3) You must tell people in one of the city’s what they should do using “il faut…” For level 5 speaking… 1) You must do all of the above. 2) You must add 2 sentences in the future tense to say what the weather will be like tomorrow. eg. Demain- tomorrow Il y aura du soleil. It will be sunny Il fera froid. It will be cold Ce sera super! It will be great
