3 Continue to do the following each day: Complete the daily log Summarize a current event Work through BBC Ma France Read Chapter 2 of La Joconde by Friday. Do not take the book home with you, I only have one copy of it. Place it on my desk when you are finished reading it. Merci!

4 History Who is Louis XIV? Why did he call himself “The Sun King”? What was life in France like for ordinary people under the reign of Louis XIV? Why did he moves the governmental center from Paris to Versailles? Find a picture of Versailles. What is it used for today?

5 ER Verb Review http://www.laits.utexas.edu/tex/gr/ver1.html Visit this website that you visited last week. You will need to know the conjugation of the present tense ER Verbs (the endings) and the meaning of the ER verbs on that website for Friday’s quiz.
