To give a command to one person, use the ending of the « TU » form of the present. Ecouter le prof DON’T USE “TU” in front of the verb *Ecoute le prof! Faire du sport Fais du sport! Finir tes problèmes de math Finis tes problèmes! de math.

To give a command to a group of persons, use the ending of the «VOUS » form of the present. Ecouter le prof DON’T USE “VOUS” in front of the verb Ecoutez le prof! Prendre votre livre Prenez votre livre! Finir tes problèmes de math Finissez tes problèmes de math!

To make a suggestion, use the ending of the «NOUS » form of the present. Aller au restaurant DON’T USE “NOUS” in front of the verb = LET’S + VERB Allons au restaurant! Mettre des bottes Mettons des bottes! Finir le dessert Finissons le dessert!

With –ER verb, don’t use the “S”!!!!!!!! danser le rockDanse le rock! parler français Parle français! manger Mange!
