Subject (je, tu…) Auxiliary verb être, conjugated in the present tense (suis, es…) Past participle – which agrees with the subject in GENDER and NUMBER e.g.: . Feminine subject: elle est allée (au cinéma) . Plural subject: Ils sont allés (au cinéma) . Feminine plural subject: elles sont allées
