3 Définitions 2nd FG IPTV meeting : Definition of IPTV
IPTV is defined as multimedia services such as television/video/ audio/text/graphics/data delivered over IP based networks managed to provide the required level of QoS/QoE, security, interactivity and reliability. Key features of IPTV - Supportable by NGN - Bi-directional networks - Real time and Non-real time service delivery

10 TA 1 Terminals for audio, video & data services and content
To develop international standards related to consumer electronics equipment for access and use of audio, video and/or data services and content TAM: Mr. D. Felland (US), TS: Mr. H. Iga (JP) PT62455 (IP and transport stream based service access):- 100/1141A/CDV ( ISDB-T ) T-DMB PT62487(Measurement of Television Average Power Consumption): revision or amendment of TV part in currect IEC62087(Methods of measurement for the power consumption of audio, video and related equipment) Project: IEC Ed.1: IP and transport stream based service access (TC 100 TA1) - DLNA scope is limited to a homenetwork, while the scope of 100/1141A/CDV is terminal for broadcast systems. These fields are different. DLNA uses HTTP as the common content transfer protocol, and HTTP is not suited for broadcast applications. Furthermore, so far DLNA has only selected link protection technologies such as DTCP-IP for the narrowest possible scope, streaming from a media server that is in the proximity of the media renderer. These technologies are not suitable for broadcast applications, and they will not work in any applications in which the server is outside the home network; - Section of 100/1141A/CDV describes the selected technologies, and the goal has been to maximize the use of existing protocols wherever applicable

11 TA 2 Color measurement and management
To develop international publications relating to colour measurement and management for use in multimedia systems and equipment. Such publications may have a wider application. TAM: Dr. H. Ikeda (JP), TS: Mr. J. Holm (US) Proj.
