2 Explication: Most adjectives in the French language follow the noun. There are exceptions that come before the noun. These exceptions are like the adjectives petit, grand for example which you should know by now. In this lesson we will focus on other exceptions.

3 Nouveau, vieux, & beau The adjectives nouveau (new), vieux (old) and beau (beautiful, handsome) come before the noun. Not only do they come before the noun but they have different forms.
