8 Adjective Agreement You add an e to the masculine form of most adjectives to describe feminine nouns. Adjectives that already end in a silent e don’t change in the singular form. Il est intelligent. Elle est intelligente. Il est jeune. Elle est jeune.

9 To describe plural nouns, you usually add
an s to adjectives, unless they end in s or x. Ils sont jeunes. Ils sont heureux. Some adjectives have different feminine forms. Il est beau. Elle est belle. Il est gentil. Elle est gentille. Il est sportif. Elle est sportive. The singular forms of sympa are the same; an –s is added to make sympa plural.
