3 © UPU 2010 – All rights reserved Results of the PDR 2006–2008 at a glance –6.13% increase in the number of post offices – 17 countries adopted the IPDP reform process – 28 countries participating in continuous testing – Significant improvement in exchanges with industrialized countries. English-speaking countries are measuring their exchanges (58.5% in J+5): outcome of global quality of service project for SAPOA countries – 17 countries have IPS and 23 countries have IPS Light (compared with 25 in 2005) – Increasingly diverse range of postal services provided. 63% of postal revenue generated by letter post (compared with 67% in 2005) – 19 countries connected to IFS network. Pilot project bringing together six West African countries: extension of service in rural areas (agreement between UPU and IFAD) – Post consolidated its presence in parcels segment in 2008, enjoying a 15.91% year-on-year increase in domestic volumes – 64% of operators offer Internet access points, 36% online services, and 21% a domestic hybrid mail service

Les pays anglophones mesurent les échanges entre eux (58.2% à j+5): résultat projet Approche globale QS en faveur des pays de la SAPOA. 17 pays ont IPS et 23 IPS-Light, contre 25 en 2005. Loffre postale est de plus en plus diversifiée (63% des revenus des postes, contre 67% en 2005, sont générés par les lettres). 19 pays sont connectés au réseau IFS. Un projet pilote à regroupe 6 pays de lAfrique de lOuest: extension du service dans les zones rurales (Accord signé entre lUPU et le FIDA). Le trafic intérieur des colis postaux a évolué de 15.91% en 2008 par rapport à 2007 dénotant dune vigueur nouvelle de la poste sur ce marché. 64% des opérateurs offrent des points daccès à Internet; 36% offrent des services en ligne et 21% offrent le courrier hybride en interne.
