2 Nos établissements scolaires/Our schools Notre regroupement scolaire est composé par une école siège (Escola Básica e Secundária Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral) et 6 autres écoles (maternelles et primaires), ce qui fait un total de 1335 élèves et 134 professeurs. Our group of schools is formed by a central school (Escola Básica e Secundária Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral) and six other schools (kindergarten and primary schools), so 1335 students and 134 teachers work there.

3 L’ÉCOLE SIÈGE: Escola Básica e Secundária Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral Dans notre école, les niveaux scolaires sont: le collège et le lycée. Actuellement, il y a un total de 758 élèves (parmi lesquels 21 fréquentent une filière professionnelle); 96 professeurs; 1 technicienne spécializée; 26 surveillants. In our school, the school levels are from elementary to high school. Nowadays there are:  758 students (from whom 21 attend a professional course)  96 teachers  1 specialized technician  26 supervisors

4 L’ÉCOLE SIÈGE: Escola Básica e Secundária Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral Il y a :  36 Salles de classes  2 Laboratoires (sciences et physique- chimie)  2 cabinets médicaux  2 Salles de travail pour les professeurs  1 terrain pour l’éducation physique et sportive  1 Bibliothèque, 1 papeterie, 1 salle de reprographie et 1 cantine There are:  36 classrooms  2 laboratories ( science, physics and chemistry)  2 medical cabinets  Two teachers rooms  A field for physical education  1 Library, 1 stationary, 1 reprographics room and a canteen.

5  L’emploi du temps des élèves varie selon les jours, mais normalement les cours commencent à 8h30 et se terminent à 16h55.  Le mercredi après-midi, il n’y a pas cours: il y a les clubs et les activités sportives. Les professeurs ont des réunions.  En fin d’année scolaire, il y a des examens nationaux au collège (portugais et mathémathiques) et au lycée (diverses matières). L’ÉCOLE SIÈGE: Escola Básica e Secundária Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral  The students timetable is different according to the days of the week but classes usually begin at 8.30 and end at 16.55.  Wednesdays afternoons there are no classes: there are clubs and sport activities. The teachers have meetings.  At the end of the school year there are national exams in the ninth grade (Portuguese and Math) and in the eleventh and twelfth grades (in many subjects).
