4 LA FRANCE The English Channel (la Manche) to the north Belgium (la Belgique) and Luxembourg to the northeast Germany and Switzerland to the east Italy to the southeast The Mediterranean sea to the south Spain and Andorra to the southwest The Atlantic ocean to the west France is located in Western Europe. The country is bordered by:

7 La Capitale (the capital) C’est PARIS !  France is divided into 22 regions and 96 administrative departments  France has 4 overseas departments (Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guyana and Reunion).  France also has overseas territories ( St. Pierre and Miquelon, French Polynesia and parts of Antarctica).
