3 Commands are a part of our everyday life. Commands are everywhere! Go! Read! Think! Raise your hand!

4 Commands The command form of a verb is also known as the “imperative”. In English the is dropped (deleted) from a statement statement to form the imperative. It is formed the same way in French. Estiell e presentations

7 Did you notice? The command form for “tu” with –er verbs is the same as the regular il/elle/on form of the verb. That is, the final “s” of the “tu” form is dropped. couteTu é É. This only happens with the “tu” commands of “-er” verbs. ! Estiell e presentations

13 listen We wait applaud We ! ! ! In English, when you include yourself in the suggestion, the subject pronoun changes from “we” in the statement to “Let’s” in the command form.... Let’s Note: “Let’s” is a contraction of “let + us” meaning “Why don’t we?
