2 When comparing two or more people or things, we will use an ADJECTIVE as well as the COMPARATIVE FORMATION. The easiest way to compare items/people is to mention the 1 st person/thing first then use the following structure: – PLUS ____ adjective_____________ QUE (more____than) – AUSSI____ adjective_ _________QUE (as____as) – MOINS____ adjective_ ________QUE ( less ___than)

3 Remember that the ADJECTIVE that you use MUST AGREE with the person or thing that is being described. Example: Pierre est plus grand que Jacques. ******BUT****** Sophie est plus grande que Jacques. In the 2 nd sentence, we used the FEMININE form of GRANDE because we are describing Sophie, who is a female.
