Le Futur Proche! Talking about what you are going to do in the future tense! 

2 Le Futur Proche! In English, there are two ways in which we can express a future action. We can either say: I will…or I’m going to… Le Futur Proche is a tense used to express the actions that are going to happen in the near future. This tense allows you to talk about what you are going to do this weekend for example.

3 How to form the Futur Proche!
To form the Futur Proche you need: (1) A Form of the verb Aller (to go) (2) An Infinitive (unconjugated verbs ending in er/ir/re)

4 Futur Proche = Form of Aller + Infinitive
Form of Aller (to go) + Infinitive Je vais aller à la plage Tu vas jouer au tennis Il/elle/on va regarder la télé Nous allons manger des croissants Vous allez faire les courses Ils/elles vont aller au cinéma

5 Look at the following examples: Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire ce week-end?
Pendant le week-end, j’ai un programme formidable! D’abord, samedi matin, je vais rendre-visite chez mes grands- parents. Je vais jouer au basket avec ma cousine Amélie. Elle est très belle mais quelquefois elle est un peu zin-zin et têtue! Ensuite, je vais faire un pique- nique avec ma famille au parc. Nous allons jouer au volley!

6 Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire ce week-end?
L’après-midi, je vais aller au cinéma avec mes amies. Nous allons regarder un bon filme qui s’appelle ‘La Petite Princesse’. Nous allons manger du Popcorn et on va boire du coca. On va s’amuser beaucoup. J’adore le cinéma!

7 Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire ce week-end?
Et puis, samedi soir, je vais aller au concert avec mes amies! Nous allons danser beaucoup! Je vais écouter de la musique et je vais chanter avec le groupe! Ça va être fantastique! On va s’amuser beaucoup!

8 Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire ce week-end?
Dimanche matin, je vais faire la grasse matinée! Je ne vais pas faire le ménage! L’après-midi, je vais aller au zoo avec ma famille. Je vais voir les animaux comme les koalas et les singes! Le soir, je vais manger le dîner au restaurant qui s’appelle ‘Le Petit Escargot’! Et puis, je vais me coucher!
